"Zookeeper," (2011, Kevin James) was hilarious! It came out on DVD recently, so we decided to get it from RedBox. I'm so happy we did! It wasn't a great quality film, but it was fun for the whole family! It even made my dad and mom laugh like crazy! So, if you come across it, rent it!
IMDb rated it: 4.7/10
I rated it: 8/10

Dolphin Tale
"Dolphin Tale," is a movie about a little boy named Sawyer. He is 11 years old. He has been sentenced to a whole summer of summer school! It is because he doesn't behave in class and is failing "almost everything." One day, on his way home from school, he went to a beach. There was a dolphin washed up and tangled in a rope! He immediately cuts the rope off with his pocketknife, just as the Clearwater, FL Marine Services arrive. Sawyer does not give up hope on his dolphin friend. After school, Sawyer heads over to the CMS and visits the dolphin. He meets a girl, Hazel, whose dad works there. In fact, they practically live there!! Hazel decided to name her Winter.
Unfortunately for Winter, things didn't turn out so well for her. Her tale was too damaged by the rope, and it needed to be taken off. With just a stub, Winter can't swim well. Dolphins swim with their tales wagging up and down, but Winter's can't. Winter's tale is moving side-to-side, but it isn't supposed to. The dolphin specialists noticed that it was hurting her back. Alas, Dr. McCarthy was hired. He only makes prosthetic limbs for humans, but Winter was a special case.
Oh no!! The CMS couldn't raise enough money to pay for Winter's tale, but good news! Hazel and Sawyer came up with an idea, to have a big carnival called Save Winter Day. So many people showed up to donate money to the great cause, that she was able to get her prosthetic tale!
If you want to know more, go see it yourself in a theater near you! I thought it was worth it!
IMDb readers rated it: 5.9/10
Movies.com users rated it: 6.3/10 or a "must go"
The St. Petersburg Times rated it: 8.3/10
Enjoy!

"The Smurf Movie"
"The Smurf Movie"
This tale of the beloved Smurf's has attracted many movie-watchers over the past month, young and old. Clumsy Smurf (voice of Anton Yelchin) was walking in the woods and saw a sign, a bush covering a crucial part. Clumsy read it as "Go this way." It took him to a blue moon and he found himself in the heart of Manhattan. Luckily, he found himself under the care of Grace Winslow (Jayma Mays) and soon was very at home. The family of Smurfs followed soon after, and they were reunited at last! Even Grace's husband, Patrick (Neil Patrick Harris) warmed up to the Smurf's after a while. The Smurf's were happy in New York, away from Gargamel (Hank Azraria)...
But they weren't. Gargamel had followed Clumsy Smurf through the blue moon and on to NYC! They hadn't escaped fully. In fact, well, I'm not going to give away the whole movie! Go see it yourself!
Overall I enjoyed the movie. The effects were nice (espescially Gargamel's cat coughing up some blonde locks belonging to Smurfette (Katy Perry). The acting was okay, and it was just a cute family film. I found it interesting to see a different side to Katy Perry. As far as I know she doesn't act often, so it was pretty neat. The film was rated 5 stars via IMDb.
